Yes (physically) CD's are only 5", but these headings refer to 12" vinyl mixes (or indeed unique 12" mixes) on 5" CDs.
It's quite a recognised practice/description really - I never thought anyone would literally think that CDs were 12"!
I also know that these are Brian (not Bran) Malouf rmixes, but as written in my "blurb at the top...

Some info about NOBY: the song was recorded in home studios of Brian and Roger - Alerton Hill and Cosford Mill. John did his work in one of them, I guess...

I don't think John was involved in the I Can't Live With You retake, I remember reading just Brian and Roger worked on it on the old QO site.
I asked Greg about another version of TYMD that was supposed to be on Rocks, and he replied saying that Brian had said that they could not better the original.

I was always under the impression they simply ported over his bass tracks from the original masters onto the new one......but this would make sense I guess, cos it did confuse me from back in the day when I read about it "featuring new material from Brian and Roger", so I just assumed they recorded new guitars and drums over the original vox and bass.
