Brian is an amazing guitarist and human being...one of the nicest guys in the industry and one of the nicest to his fans and fans of the legendary Queen....he has certainly been very nice to me the times I have met him....actually signed stuff for me but I'm one of those people who would actually say "you can write my name on it" because I'm not the low-life fake fan who would go to try to make a quick profit on e-baY.....By your comments Scott, I think it's good Brian wouldn't sign something for you.
Queen would not have been Queen without Brian.....name another amazing guitarist who wrote a song as popular worldwide as We Will Rock You...the man has written several top 10 hits and has crafted some of the most incredible guitar solos ever.....
Brian really helped Freddie with his songwriting too....it's tough for even very talented people to make it in the industry and it's quite likely that Freddie would not have made it if it wasn't for meeting up with Brian and Roger....
I can't believe that Brian spends time writing to his fans on his website and people have the gall to criticize him for it.....what the heck do you want from a rock star......it's not like he or anyone can bring Freddie back from the grave.....
Obviously the few on here that do criticize him for making music now or being in touch with his fans were never really fans of Queen anyway....and they probably disliked each time the singing stopped and a guitar solo or drum fill would start......as they were just fans of Freddie......it's sad that you don't appreciate good guitar playing and songwriting....because Brian is one of the best and nicest rock stars that there has ever been and I love the fact he's making music again for the hundreds of thousands that are seeing him and Roger and in concert again
QUEEN ROCKS FOREVER!!
THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

To Queen fans,
No one is trying to deny that Brian was a great guitarist. Some people might prefer this or that other guitarist instead, but we still like Brian a lot. We are just concerned about how he is always trying to downplay Freddie's achievements. We are also concerned about the fact that he feels like he always has to be compared to Freddie rather than just being happy about himself in the way that Roger and John clearly are. If he could just accept himself instead of always being so concerned about what other people think about him he would also be a better performer and a much happier guy.
My final analysis is that it must be hard to be in a band with someone like Freddie Mercury and then have him be gone one day. Since the average person pretty much associates Queen with Freddie, it was almost as though he lost a lot of his own importance as a performer along with his good friend. I know that the situation is very hard for him, but there is also no need for him to go around trying to belittle the public polls which have BoRap at #1 or to get pissed off at the many fans who suggest that the Queen died with Freddie.

Brian is a great guy and he is always full of love for freddie and his fans. His comments towards freddie are always very poignant and touching. He acknowledges freddie for all he has done.I don't understand this bohemian thing.Brian is always the first to say freddie is great and he always agrees about bohemian as 1 of the most unique things Queen did.His appreciation for freddie is obvious on the Greatest Video hits 2DVD,the audiocommentary by A kind of magic.Brian says that it was freddie who made them the big rockstars just like in the video!!Brian gets pissed of by the press but knowing what he did to him and our beloved freddie makes it look a normal thing.
