Even David Gilmour's goofy take of Like a Rolling Stone which he recorded as a joke whilst fiddling with one of his kids' keybaords was great, it was recorded in 1983/84.

face facts casper - just because YOU like him doesn't make him great - you are in a small minority around here. most people don't like dylan - not because they don't get him (so please don't get all prissy and snobbish and cite that as a reason) - just simply because tHEY DON'T like him!!!
i like John Wayne films (i have oevr 60) but most people these days don't like John Wayne - i accept that for most the Duke belongs to a time long-since-past, - perhaps you should do the adult thing here - and accept 'most people's' rights to not like Dylan for these self same reasons....

no Casper - i have three dylan albums (admittedly one is a double greatest hits - Essential)
the others are Blonde On Blonde and Blood On The Tracks
and i don't play them much BECAUSE , although there's soem good (and great songs) - hate his fucking voice - i honestly thought you';d picked up on that by now
songs of his sound 1000% better sung by other groups - two in partcular
It's All Over Now Baby Blue (Manfred Mann's earthband and Van Morrison) - both version blow dydlan's away
