I've only had to get replacement earbuds (the ones i got never worked) and had a problem with a defective USB chord..but nothing wiht the actual ipod
Dudley, the ipod is perfect for your needs.
Go and eat some beans and have a shit.

P_G wasn't being sarcastic.
He is right; iPod's are the best suited to most people's needs.
I myself would KILL (or love) to have one myself, especially a 60GB one at that!

I have a Muvo. Those are good too.
I have an iRiver MP3/WMA/FM player. It has 128MB of storage, which is FAR from being enough for me!
Good player though, and good if you want something cheap (luckily, it was a graduation gift from my parents, so I didn't pay a cent!)

I'm thinking of getting an iPod too...not an nano one, just a black mini 6GB one...is it worth having?
I have an Ipod and so far I'm quite satisfied with it. It has 20GB, and a battery life of 12 hours (7 hours while using an Itrip).
However, I wouldn't encourage anyone to get an Ipod just to follow the trend. It might be a good idea to ask your friends how each and everyone of them feel about using their MP3 players. You might also want to go to a good retailer and compare.
The only thing I don't recommend is anyone to build their music library with Windows Media. Use either Itunes or MusicMatch, but Windows Media is a piece of shit.

I'm getting an iPod Mini for Xmas.. :P .. yeah, I don't even have an mp3 player yet :(
got my ipod for grad, was adamantly against it because it was apple (stupid reason) and had an archos jukebox prior to the ipod. I have a 30 gig ipod photo. its my pet. I praised it earlier but you truly get what you pay for.

I think Apple is going to discontinue the fabrication of the 'Ipod Mini'. Apparently they're trying to push the popularity of the 'Ipod Nano'.
