Hi Wilki! I'm reviewing my collection of fanmixes, and was always amazed by your China Belle and Why Don't We Try Again...do you have any more up your sleeve?
To the topic, do you now have a more complete list of what was supposed to be on this release?
Could you list it so I can start searching the usual places for the stuff I haven't heard yet?
It'd be cool to tell people what these sound like, though I think we need to resurrect the Trainspotter's Guide to Queen, as it had some good reviews of some of these tracks.
Quickly -- Dakeyne WWRY is great, a sped up version with some creative repetitions and rearrangements. Ogilive's AOBTD is cool the way it makes Freddie go all shouty. Long Dusted B Boy is more of a medley of songs that sound a bit like AOBTD, with only bits of the Queen track mixed in here and there (I once made a mix of only those parts for someone on a mix tape...) All of Reznor's stuff is greatness, as much as I don't really like his NIN stuff, he clearly loves Queen, and unlike other professional enthusiasts, is good at remixing and covering them.

OK I took the QUEEN Basic Bootlegs mixes and turned them into lower quality mono mp3's for listening and review. It's in a 4.5 meg zip file. Where can I send it or put it up at?

FBG contains a diff "take" of the vocals from Freddie, around 2:25/2:30. So the only way to get this in full quality would be from EIL, or do they not even have it there?

Many thanks!!! Some of the tracks are more like covers or new composition than proper remixes. The vocal take of FBG is indeed very interesting.
The ENTIRE Freddie vocal track for Fat Bottomed Girls is a different take.
It really pisses me off that shit remixers and producers get access to the mastertapes and these rarities, only for these lovely little nuggets of unheard Queen to end up some obscure unreleased promo somewhere.

Further to that, I've just noticed that the Dragon Attack (Rave) features 'new' guitar at about 3:37, which clearly shows that the solo we hear on the finished record is actually a composite of two different takes.
