Thank you!

Also, how much do you plan to sell the CD for?

I'm rather interested in buying it from you privately.

According to this site, it was released in 1991, but can soemone confirm this? There is no mention in the CD to the date release!

Take care[/QUOTE]

Yes, it is from 1991.
It was a US-only single release.
So... this would be all for the 1999 CD-R "acetate" from Hollywood BASIC, catalogue number PRCD-61287-2 (please note that the withdrawn, original 1992 commercial release was meant to have the HB-61287-2 code instead).

I am now wondering if someone here might know a thing or two about another release from that time:
QUEEN
THE UNAUTHORIZED CLUB RECORD
CD-R "acetate"
1999 (late) - USA, Hollywood BASIC: PRCD-61292-2

It is supposed to also have 10 tracks, including one of the NO MORE BROTHERS mixes of Living On My Own, the 1991 bonus remix of Bicycle Race, the DMC version of We Will Rock You, the Trent Reznor mix of Tie Your Mother Down and the (I guess) otherwise unreleased The Miracle (Keith Cohen-Femi Jiya mix).

Any information about this disc or its contents would be very welcome!

Hmm, seems like it won't let me download. It requires a security code but it only lets me put in like the first 4 of the code but not the rest so I get an error page. What's up with that?

Some months ago Rapidshare changed the way to input the code.

I found this tutorial in google for you. I don't know the website that hosts this and cannot inform you if it is safe in any way for any purpose. Here it goes:

Thanks for that but as it turned out, it was "happy hour" on rapidshare and they did not require a code, lol.

Anyway, it's hard for me to judge those remixes 'cuz as the man said, they're low quality (he wasn't kiddin') but from what I *could* make out, these mixes, much like the ones included as bonus tracks on the Hollywood re-isses, should've been put out on a seperate CD of their own, there is an audience for them, just not necessarily Queen fans.
Love to get a high-quality version of the CD. I had a copy before mp3s, then lost it.

Ug.

Yes!
Please can someone upload FBG in high quality ?

Just a shame that whoever mixed them thought it a good idea to add rapping to virtually every song and therefore ruin it :(

Hey, I almost feel inspired to add the following as my signature:
"Rap? Only because they couldn't spell "crap"!

Here are the pics of the CD (it looks too "young" for 15 years!).

Correct, 1991. I was working at the record store when this came in. Also issued on a cassette. There was no full-length album type release. This is when "maxi-singles" were flying off the wall.

I don't think we sold a single one, aside from the two I got.
I bought my copy in 1992 (so a 1991 release is very likely) in Holland. They were selling these for about $5,- in a few regular music stores.

Speaking of HR remixes, has anyone heard this:

The Miracle (David Cohen Mix)

It's been bugging me for years.

V.
I'm as mad as HELL, and I'm not going to take this anymore!
Please see above. It's not David Cohen (sorry, my mistake!), but Keith Cohen.
