Pieter: We stood in line longer than the duration of the actual tour. Here's the rundown:
First, a woman came out (late) and introduced herself as Queen's PA, and our "tour guide" for the afternoon. I don't recall her name, and I got the distinct feeling that maybe she wasn't the person originally slated to lead the tour. The whole thing seemed hastily thrown together, and may have been thrown at her at the last minute. She had long, brownish-blonde streaked hair, silver jewelry, very efficient. Talked about being one of only two women with the Queen tour. She introduced a guy as Paul Rodgers' manager (I thought Cynthia was PR's manager, but I guess I was wrong.) I don't remember his name, but it may have been Chris. He had a hipster ponytail thing going, was a bit of a charmer, and seemed very nice. He closed this part of the "tour" saying something such as "you're in for a great show tonight," which should have served as a warning of what was coming on the "tour" as well as a recurring theme throughout the afternoon.
Initially we were told we'd be broken up into two groups of 90-100 each, and taken on separate tours. Those plans seem to have been abandoned. We followed the "tour guide" en masse up the hill and into the back of the Bowl, through a maze of roadie cases. The narration went something like this: "See all these roadie cases? These are the ones that the rental lights came in. It's mess out on stage. We started doing the stage build at 8:00 this morning, and it will look like we won't finish in time for the gig tonight, but we will." (a paraphrase, not a true quotation) The most exciting bit about the roadie cases? The green tape stuck on them with "Japan" scrawled in black Sharpie ink. Presumably the things marked "Japan" were not items rented for the LA show.
Next we walked along the Pool Circle in front of the stage. Sure enough, there were a bunch of people on the stage working, some gawking at the annoying idiots like me who were stupid enough to pay for this "tour." The "tour guide" answered some questions, while we milled about, sat/stood in the Pool Circle, most of us expecting something to happen, i.e., hear a roadie swear, see a light crash from the rafters to the stage, have a guy say "Hey everyone, look over there. That's Brian's Red Special" or SOMETHING. I suspect WE were actually the entertainment for the roadies and techs that afternoon.
Next came the promised "tour of the dressing rooms." Still expecting to see something, ANYTHING interesting, maybe even learn of some history of the Hollywood Bowl or perhaps, Queen, we were led around the back of the Bowl where a rent-a-cop stood in front of a door that may or may not have led to the dressing rooms. The "tour guide" then explained that that the dressing rooms were very small and that the only thing there was to see in them was a mirror with lights around it, and maybe a chair. She told us what the dressing rooms normally look like, i.e., piped and draped for privacy to include a bed, maybe a chair like in a hotel room, BUT, because the rooms were so small, we wouldn't be able to see them. One can only hope something fun and scandalous was transpiring in the dressing rooms! She followed up with another exclamation that the evening's show would be a good one. (Uh oh . . . that statement again!)
At this point, the lovely Mark Weiss, from Artists Arena, perhaps catching a whiff of the smell of fear, started tossing softball questions to the "tour guide" (i.e. "How many people are on the Queen tour? "Forty nine, not including security/rent-a-cops, and local electricians, etc.)

From what i heard on other forums about Greg's words he don't said that Queen and PR were planning a studio album. He said that QUEEN was planning it. Someone said that Brian and Roger were writing stuff between open air concerts and Aruba, and that they don't even seen PR during that time. Other convention reporters told also that Greg said that Queen will not tour again after mid-july WITH PR. He didn't said that Queen(Brain and Roger with or without other singer) will never tour again. Queen and Pr's contract expire in July, so both are free to do what they want. People get this misunderstandings because they thought that PR became a member of Queen , wich is not the case...

Damn, Cindy, your "tour" was worse than ours... The whole thing was really a joke when you get down to it. I seriously just wanted to ensure a good seat, but it turns out we probably could have got a really good one at face value right before the show. I was most disappointed with the "boxset." Don't promise us a special edition boxset and give us a lunchbox. Come on.. Who ever organized this thing is a dipshit. I still think it kinda sucks that for $600 you didn't get a quick hello from Brian or Roger. We didn't get a full array of merchandise to choose from at the discount either, btw.

Regarding the Comments said at the Dutch Con.....don't get too excited just yet. I think in a situation like this it's best to wait and see what the Band says after they return home from Japan and have a chance to really think about what they would like to do next.
