What Bon Jovi did to their songs for "This lef feels right" is simply tragic. They turned all ther amazing hi-energy stadium rock hits into "a guy whines and ocasionally does something to an acoustic guitar"-shit :(

I don't like the slow version of Hammer To Fall (or the semi-acoustic version Brian did of Tie Your Mother Down) but a lot of Queen songs could have been done unplugged that were originally slow numbers - Las Palabras De Amor, Sail Away Sweet Sister (and Love Of My Life obviously), and also more up-tempo songs like '39, Long Away and Misfire.

sorry, but i have to disagree...you're talking rubbish. the concept of "unplugged" was to strip away the amps and effects...some of the heavier bands out there did the best sets on unplugged...the KISS one was fantastic...esp when you consider the setlist and the egos. it's not about what's in the finished studio song that makes it unpluggable or not....it's about the feel and tempo of the basic tune...
a Queen unplugged would definitely work....the typical set was cut down to 50mins for tv...here's which songs i think would work

Agreed about the concept - look at Nirvana's MTV show, they did an excellent rendition of Come As You Are, which is a heavy song...

Comeone, the idea is ridiculous. Take a band with a penchant for throwing the kitchen sink at music and make them play their songs acoustic- I think the words underwhelming and flat come to mind. Queen are the anithesis of that coffee house nonsense.
