According to Justin Shirley-Smith, there were no studio "corrections". The very few bits that were changed from the Sheffield gig were replaced with live material from other shows on the tour. Nothing was overdubbed in the studio.

I think the ROTC is great. It does suck however that there are no bonus features other than Imagine. Makes me think that they will be releasing some other DVD from this tour.
Ray D'Oh Gaga, if you don't mind I base my criticism on what I find appropriate. You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine. Surely, I am not buying a product that has less content than was originally promised only to "earn" a right to voice my opinion. I know from friends who own both promo and full DVD that the content is identical and it's enough for me not to pay more money to see more of this.

If you don`t buy the product for what it is (a Live concert) you`re missing the point of it!
I think nowadays people are guiving more importance to the extras than to primary product.
One thing i`m shure, if they didn`t put out any extras they must have a good reason for that!!
Probably next time they release a DVD only with extras for the real fans, and then even those fans wouldn`t buy it because they want a real gig, you just can`t please everyone!!
If you think carefully, you realise that the extras for the other Queen DVD`s were an obvious choise because they were re-releases, so they would have to put on something new for the people that who already got the VHS would buy the DVD.

No, it's very easy: just release the concert plus the extra material. That would make everybody happy. Just do NOT release the same product next year with some extra features to cash in twice for the same concert. And looking at the upcoming ANATO release that is exactly what is happening.

Congratulations Inu-Liger! What a name! You are one of the first or at least few people to acknowledge what I said concerning the blu-ray disc technology and about the furthest developement of thought put to what I said about it as well after mentioning it quite a bit about over the past couple of years! Thank you! I am fasinated that you are knowledgable in this and am curious as to how and where you have found about about the information concerning blu-ray d.v.d.s?
I went to see them in Manchester and it was one of the best nights I've ever had. I downloaded the bootleg of the concert a day or two later and I was happy with that. I've heard the official CD and I decided not to buy it, preferring to listen to the bootleg copy of Manchester.
After listening to the official CD, I won't be purchasing the DVD either. I just didn’t see any attraction in buying the official CD but maybe the DVD will come in handy as a stocking filler at Christmas. I won't be spending any money on it myself.
The best thing they could have done would have been to record all the concerts and make them available for purchase online instead of the odd couple of songs from each concert (I think this has been discussed here anyway). That for me would have been the best thing they could have done as opposed to releasing an official CD and DVD but I could imagine the uproar if there was no official DVD released.
I'm looking forward to the 30th Anniversary ANATO however. I never got around to purchasing the DTS release and my CD of ANATO was stolen several years ago, leaving me with only the vinyl release and MP3's I encoded onto my PC. I'd probably be pissed though if I had purchased the original ANATO DVD-A only for this new release to come out with new features.
As for future media formats such as Blu-Ray I've decided to cut down in my purchasing of DVD's as it looks like they will become obsolete in a few years as DVD's will be re-released as HD-DVD which can manage double the resolution of current DVD's.

Well I was there and I wasn't bored !! They edited out most of the shouts from the top of the tier stage right..that's where we were going nuts- check out hammer to fall---paul points up at us and waves. During his songs- the crowd (except for us and a few others) was dead..our shout outs for the most part are dubbed out--(I am very loud- and time those moments carefully) but in FLML-Paul is on the catwalk and is looking high up stage right during a "FLML" phrase...other than us yes most of the crowd was dead compared to the other UK shows..so why do they show the crowd so much? I would rather have longer close up shots of PR, Brian and RMT.

I enjoy the DVD for what it is and to help sell product which may help determine whether or not they tour here. It's a nice memory and the sound quality is far superior to the CD.
I would much rather listen to concert bootlegs of a vibrant evolving band or their later innovative solo efforts, than listen to a greatest hits rehash by a star studded cover band. I have heard the FBG single on radio a few times, but it is not quite as good as performed over 20 years ago. I will go in person and see Queen in concert, but I see no reason to buy the three newest rehash products presented by QP.

A good portion of my knowledge comes from that site, funny to say!)
I'm hugely biased towards Blu-Ray for many reasons, the main ones being:
1) Data space (50GB for dual layer discs as opposed to 30GB for dual layered HD-DVD discs; 25GB for single layered discs as opposed to 15GB for single layered HD-DVD discs)
2) First-Generation recorders being launched alongside with standard players, for recording (but not limited to) HDTV programming at bitrates higher than the broadcasts themselves. (Blu-Ray was developed with this as the main goal at first; movie releases on Blu-Ray were decided on much later when the format was being developed)
3) High-Definition DTS and Dolby Digital (well, of course they're also part of the HD-DVD standard, but I doubt they'll use DTS-HD on their discs because of space, obviously)
Another reason I'm supporting BD is because PS3 will be using Blu-Ray technology, AND it will be the cheapest BD players in the market (like it was with DVD and PS2) for a while, since Sony will sell them for less than it actually costs to make!!!
