back in th day (1990 I believe) Queen (asnd a bunch of other bands) released a whole bunch of very big posters - probably about twuce the size of the 'normal' size poster you'd buy - Approx. 6 ft by 3 ft I'd say. I brought one for the "I'm Going Slightly Mad" single release (with the big monster thing on it). Does anyone know if these things are worth anything these days?
Don't know the value of your poster - the one's you mean were record company issue for posting inside record shops , bus shelters etc . I bought mine via a shop in sussex ( brighton or hove I think )through an advert in Record Collector magazine here in the U.K . Ironically enough they arrived on monday 25th November 1991 , the day Fred's death was announced , so I remember it well . I have the complete set of Innuendo one's - the album and singles - they each measure 60"x40" and are the same as the record / CD sleeves except underneath they have text saying something like the new single released - insert date here , and format Cd , 7" , 12" , cassette .

One execption was the " Headlong " single poster - all blue with white text - no picture of the single sleeve . One thing I do have is an original 1986 magic album poster - 60 inches long ( five feet ! ) by 40 inches high - with a tiny tear , otherwise mint - anyone know how rare this is / what it's worth ?
60x40 posters were intended to be stuck to fences, walls etc, and I think are now largely illegal.

The market for them is fairly small, so it's hard to put prices to them, but I did sell an original One Vision & LOMO for £50 a year or so ago.

Incidentally, HFE, LML & AWT from MiH were all promoted by two posters side by side, making a total of 60x80. Good luck finding wall space for them.
does anyone know where i could find a poster of Queen's? stupid staores in america dont even have them in their stores- ill try in thei village but does anyone know a defiante location of one?

Thanks Guys.

I used to have it on my wall back in the day (we're talking 15 years ago now) - It's just rolled up in a tube with a bunch of other posters from thereabouts.
Speaking of Large posters.Does anyone remember the Large Wall posters that were around in the seventies?I'll never forget the poster that I procured on the Boardwalk in Wildwood,N.J.in the summer of '77.It had some great pictures of the band from the ADATR tour.I especially remember a great picture of Freddie with his red and white striped shorts and suspenders. That same year I won the NOTW album on one of those spinning wheel games.I really wish I still had that poster.that was a great summer for a 13 year old Queen fan!

Back in 1990.
Oooh..I likey your Cross poster, PG...
Jamie - I've just emailed you. I have some posters if you are interested in buying.

:-)
Yeah, I've got that Innuendo (the single) one too. Won't be worth much anymore, though. I've had it on my bedroom ceiling (yes-yes! It did not fit my half curving attick walls ;-) for littele short of 10 years. Got smudgy from dust and got small holes in all 4 corners.

I've got the billboard poster for Roger's Cyberbarn gig, billboard poster for Brian's '98 UK tour, billboard for Brian's gig in Rotterdam '93, and billboard for WWRY musical in Cologne (I hate the musical, but nevertheless ;-)

And talking about HUGE ones, lol...
I've got a wide billboard poster (in two parts) for QPR in Cologne, which is TWICE those Innuendo's :-)

btw:
P_G; that Great Pretender one is coohool!! ;-)
