Speaking of large posters, where is FATTY??
LMAO!! :-)
Ive got a couple of billboard posters that were 'borrowed' from a couple of venues of Roger's 'Electric Fire' tour.I have no idea how much they cost. Probably not very much.
For those of you who know me, know that I have problems with these posters staying on the wall and regularly I wake up to find myself pinned to my bed by a 7ft Roger(a girl can dream).
Im Off To Shoot Myself If Anyone Cares .......
yea everyone and anyone feel free to email me with pictures of ur posters if ur interested in selling---
One should ANALize the Poetry on page 43, when Oedipus is rollin' in his benzo and he has to bust a cap on some flagrants in the under city http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/image/essay/1
I own a really BIG poster, of wich only 2 copies exist. It is the very first testprint for the Innuendo promotion campaign. It was withdrawn as it has a thick black lining, like a border, on the outside, marking the outside-size wich in the eyes of Queen looked too much like one of those cards one gets at funerals...or letters one receives when somebody has passed away...Freddie was still alive at that point, and the press was already hunting his home then...in order to not provoce more rumours, this design was never made available. In absolute stunning mint/mint super condition, i will sell this one-off collectable for € 500,- only. mail me for serious reactions only on : basjesplace@queenzone.com it is very very rare indeed...and unbelievably beautiful.....
lifelong loyal and dedicated Queenfan.
Sorry, I refuse to buy it until Record Collector have published a "news" article about it...
I already have the other one. Thinking about renting a printing press.
Wow! Take a look at this variety of Queen posters/articles on eBay from one seller. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Huge-QUEEN-Pictures-Clippings-Posters-Pack-70s-80s_W0QQitemZ7612001397QQcategoryZ105023QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem And here are some Queen posters in general from various sellers. http://entertainment-memorabilia.listings.ebay.ca/Queen_Posters_W0QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQlopgZ2QQsacatZ105023QQsocmdZListingItemList
Yes, it was a worthwhile experience.
Hmm..some of those are just pages out of Billboard - how they get away with calling them posters is a mystery.

Some nice "proper" posters though - Star Fleet especially unusual.
I know I have one around from the "Its a Hard Life" video- of them in costume, and I think I have a Brian May one stashed somewhere too. I used to have the really big on of Brian from Live at Brixton- I saw it recently on Ebay going for around $10 at the time- I don't know what closing bid was. I don't think I still have that one though.
KillerFan: I think I had the poster you describe....I bought in 1978 or '79 it was very large and a collage of many shots of Ftreddie in those striped shorts. I have been looking for another recently, but I don't think it is in print.

I recall another really cool '70's era photo of Freddie in the recording studio....I'm pretty sure it is from the inside cover of one of my old vinyl Queen LPs....

Freddie is spawled belly down across a Steinbech Piano, knees bent with his feet in the air...he is wearing clogs and seems to be luxuriating on his 'instrument'

It is a lovely photo....I'm surprised no one has scanned it and submitted it to the gallery here.
