On what tour does Freddie sound best?

I've been spending a lot of time comparing and contrasting my many Queen live performances to find an answer to the proposed question. For my two-cents, I think that Freddie sounds unbelievable at Milton Keynes 1n '82. His range and power sound as strong if not stronger than studio recordings. What do you all think. What are some of his other vocal pearls? Also, do you think Freddie sounds so good at Milton Keynes because it was the last show of the European Tour and he knew he could go all out? All comments appreciated.

I think Fred never sounded any better than singing "Bo Rhap" on their current Tour in 2005... !!!
May I dare to say that he even sounded like he did twenty years ago...??? ;-)

Anyways...Rubes, I agree that Freddie does sound great in milton keynes. I also liked the canadian gig, think it was toronto? it's an official release. Somebody to love is especially good on it.

Fred ALWAYS sounded great!!! He came to town to entertain YOU... no matter what the circumstance!!!!
Simply listen to their records... or better "come and enjoy their shows"... ok, if you were able to do so...! ;-)

needless to say, he's great in Milton Keyens!

The crazy tour was the best followed by the U.S game tour of 1980

I think Freddie's vocal range was best around 1981/1982.

I think around the News of the World and Jazz tours. Not particularly my favorite tours, mainly because the setlists had changed from emphasis on Queen I/II to their big hits, but Freddie's voice was incredible around that time.

I say Queen live in japan 1985 was good sadly that was his last tour
but saw it on dvd and the whole place rock !!! freddie was full of life there no wonder Japan love them :)

At Live Aid in 1985 he sounded very strong, his voice hitting the high notes very well.
In 1978 and 1978 his vocal performance was varying very much. Some concerts suffer from his problems with the high notes, on others his voice was almost perfect.

definately Hot Space tour.

I think his shining moments were '78 and'82.
