If I answer these questions I can win something very very cool and I know I'm cheating, but I want to win, can anyone test their skills on these?

1. I got number 1.

2. I'm thinking of getting blue shoes to match my heart grenade. If you tell me who I am you can use the first three letters of my name.

3. I always wanted to write a song about the perfect girl. The thing about that is, none exist. If you think of a song that was written for the perfect girl write down the first three letters of the last word it's called.

4. If A = 2 and Z = 377, what does 35, 152, 135, 299, and 209 equal?

5. I got number 5.

6. What do you think is punk? Do you think a show like Jackass is punk? I don't, I think the most original punk video is also a name of a band. If you figure out the band you can figure out the name of the video and drop the last letter of it's title.

Punk, in the words of Billie Joe Armstrong is when you kick a trash can...

...when someone else does it just to follow, it's no longer punk. It's trendy.

I just copied and pasted this straight from the website. The riddles will give you letters, ALL the letters from each of the riddles equal a word or phrase.

*Sigh* I do too...

I don't get it. Why?
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.
For #6 I know that Lemmy Motorhead, I believe, wrote a song called "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." that the Ramones performed. However, I do not believe they made a video for it. So, ultimately, I just didn't really help you at all, unless you can find the video for it, may it exist or not.

If you can tell us the answers, or the letters that are used for the ones you got, it might help us get the rest.

This is what I got so far:

1-hope
2
3
4
5-nerr

The new Green Day DVD, Bullet in a Bible, coming out soon. I can't buy it in a music store because there are none...So I'm trying my best at this...

And I believe the answers must be GD related.

Why don't you post the questions as well, kayla? That way, we can see how to dissect the answer!
Hope nerr could be strung together to sound like opener. Just a suggestion.

They aren't questions, they are just sentences that have an answer...I have them in the top post. That's all they gave us to work with.

So...
"I got number 1" = hope?
Hmmm. The only things I recognized were the words "heart grenade." Sorry, Kayla.

It's a song about the perfect girl, lyrically[/QUOTE]

Yes, but, so are thousands of other songs...why this one? Especially since this song can only be very loosely interpreted that way.

The answers must sure be Greenday related? For example the blue heart grenade question - perhaps there is band member wearing a blue HG shirt on a recent press photo or in a video and the answer is the name? or the "I got no 1" is perhaps the first track of the new album etc

Maybe I am missing the point of this riddle completely, though
I do not want any google ads here.
