Here are the actual questions to numbers one and five:
1. Thanksgiving is near and what better time for a parade. Each year I have a brand new... (damn i can't think of the word I want to use) that something cool would happen during a parade. Figure out the word I wanted to use and you can use all of its letters.
5. Billie and Jason have something in common. If you take the tenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth letter of this you can add them to your list. And since there are two of them, you can use two of the sixteenth letter.

Umm, and there were at least two requests for the actual questions/ hints so we could decipher the best angle to attack the others.

Okay, maybe you didn't quite understand what I said. I already have the answers for 1 and 5 and I didn't need your help. I don't apprecaite you calling me slow when you didn't read what I wrote in the first place. Just forget it guys, it's no big deal.
