I remember paying 35 euros (or maybe it was even longer ago and it was guilders) for a CD-R with Silver Salmon to Sikke. Surprised that this still hasn't been released, as it is definitely one of the better unreleased tracks in my opinion.
Here is the best version, number 4 with speed corrected
^ Those four versions of Silver Salmon come from the internet bootleg 'The Vaults'. I think that all of them are fakes, excepting the last one. And, that last one, must come from a lossless source. Which I hope somebody shares at some point in the time.
PS: Can you hear the Seven Seas Of Rhye intro at the end of the version posted by Ale? Maybe the song it's actually from 72'-74'.

No, no, nope Gab, 1, 2 and 3 are real, the first one is part of the improv for the final Silver Salmon version
you can hear Seven Seas of Rhye at the end, that means nothing since is not part of the session, just a crossfade onto SSOR from a made up rarities or demos CD-R, just that...
but most important, the overall sound of Silver Salmon, the drums, the guitar, that's not from 1971-1972 at all.

If you speed correct an mp3 doesn't it lose quality unless saved as a "lossy" flac?

The first version I had it labeled as Feelings (which's just an improv before SS, yeah). The second version it's supposed to be recorded from a convention as the first version, but with a so weird reverberation and resonance that makes me think (and cringe, LOL) about the authenticity of the state of this audio tracks.
The third version it's just an incomplete and saturated version of the song. The fourth and last version contains the song in it's integrity and its the commonly known best version.
Cleaning that aspect, the song was (surely) recorded in rehearsal times for the NOTW tour - maybe that's why SSOR sounds at the end, given that the compilation setlist is this one: "CD1 (1971-1974):

Barry Durex is right - editing an mp3 and resampling it as a new mp3 will further degrade its quality. "mp3 already lost its quality" is a weird statement. As if an audio file either has "quality", or hasn't, heh.
