The film you see from this concert, are ALL from screen cameras ONLY. NO proffesional film team was there at this evening.
This IS well known by now.
GREG BROOKS has told this at QUEEN convention MANY times. So there will NEVER be a official DVD of this concert.

I've heard that any Knebworth footage they have suffers the same problem as the Live Aid gig - basically, the edit that they did on the day (the big screen thing) is all that remains, and that alternate angles weren't preserved.
But meh. Who'd want another '86 show anyway?

Really , nobody as a decent video of this in the colection (i think), to have the professional filming would be great. Even if they don`t release it, it would be great to know they exist anywhere.

Personally, I would. If it is of decent, broadcast-able quality, and is a reasonable gig, then - I say, what the hell - release it.

I think a series of concerts of good quality would be excellent. It's do-able too. Remember Pearl Jam releasing the whole series of concerts on CD? Also, The Who and others release sound-board quality gigs on every tour they do through themusic.com

Fill me in here. What was so wrong with Rock In Rio. I know Fred had trouble with IWTBF with the women's clothing but the setlist looks great- far better than on the Magic tour.

What was wrong with everyone having a concert with the attendance size as it was and even having cameras there doing some filming and being to moronic to not film such a phenomenal event? That's just sad. Besides the next Queen live d.v.d. release should be the following year after they do a new studio l.p. with Paul Rodgers. I would guess that would be in 2008. Hopefully not 2009. I just don't want the attention taken from Queen getting going again plus since "On Fire" was just released as well. I wouldn't mind seeing a few releases a year with everything on blu-ray d.v.d. but not yet. Plus the old stuff will need to be re-released on blu-ray d.v.d. in the next two or three years anyway...

What's the point of releasing the 'TV recorded' stuff on blu ray DVD? It's not going to benefit from the extra resolution as it's not there!

Anything made on film (negatives, masters or complete) like some promos maybe, most definatley WWRY and Budapest but not much else.

QP haven't got to grips with authoring to SD DVD so it would be a crime to let em loose on blu ray or HD DVD. They need to learn to walk first!
