If you listen to the audio commentary on that ( well it might of been that or it might have been something else i saw) Brian says that they were lip syncing.
they werent allowed to do it live and they were making it obvious on purpose. you can tell if you look properly because half of the time freddie isnt even pretending to sing into the microphone. and roger is just pretty much sitting there.

I would thing, how pathetic. However, what says it all, is that instead of losing respect for a band, thinking, "What whores! Can't they do it live?". With Queen, it's more like, "What the fuck??? What a bummer, I was hoping it was a new performance."
Is it dissapointment that they can't pull off a live show?? No, it's actually a "What the hell are they doing?? What a waste of an opportunity."
Why the waste? Because, when Queen goes live, it'e an alternate piece of art, comparable to the original.
Why they did it? The only thing I know is that it had nothing to do with their ability to perform live.

Yeah, I know. I have live at wembly and the bowl too but when I watched the bonus disc on GH2, It sounded too close to the studio. If you read the origional post, I said it may have been edited. I then went to the most reliable source I could find, being QZ
