Pointless Queen song(s)?

In my honest, humble opinion, no Queen songs are pointless!

How on earth can you say 'Dear Friends', 'You And I' and 'The Hero' are pointless songs? They are all excellent!

'Dear Friends' is a beautiful song, 'You And I' is one of Deacon's best and should have been a single in my opinion. As for 'The Hero', best song by far on the 'Flash Gordon' album/soundtrack. It has great music and harmonies on it, especially the explosive ending! 'Put Out The Fire' is a decent enough rock track. Not their best but certainly not pointless.

Agreed, 'Delilah' and 'Body Language' are not their best pieces of work but 'Delilah' is quite funny, cute and cool guitar sounds at the end. With 'Body Language', at least they tried something new and different.

If I was pushed to say a 'pointless' song as you put it, I would say... 'Yeah'

For me these are the pointless songs;
Cool Cat- it's rather limp even though Fred's voice is good on it.
Anyone of Brain May's folky songs except for '39 or maybe Leaving Home Ain't Easy which are okay.
The only others would be Pain/Pleasure, Don't Lose Your Head and maybe Rain Must Fall

You are all wrong, "One Year Of Love" is the most pointless of all Queen songs. There's really nothing of substance there. The form is unoriginal, a chord progression we have seen in hundreds of other songs, completely dull lyrics. It doesn't even have a guitar solo. Yup, most pointless Queen song ever.
