Not popular with hardcore fans you mean. It was a hit in the US and made more fans, but they liked Queen for the 'dance/disco' music they do.
"Please buy my upcoming album... I need the money"
I am a HUGE fan, not just a part time one. Everybody who is a fan of Queen like me must have at least one song they skip while listening to a CD - Dear friends has always been one of them for me. I'm very suprised any fan could knock body language

keep 2 the subject; Queen
children...stick to the topic.

my picks -

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
The Invisible Man
Deiliah
Rain Must Fall
My Baby Does Me
Friends Will Be Friends
Body Language
For me, it is the absolutely horrific "Hitman" and that other affront to humanity, "Invisible Man"....

At least Body Language has slightly iconic status amongst us early-80's funsters....
"Just tryin' to have a little fun, folks..."
ah, just remembered. Chinese torture is one of the very FEW songs i skip on the cd - not very keen on instrumental stuff

All Queen songs have a meaning and point to them so really i would'nt say any was pointless.
Someday, Your princess will come, Mine got lost, took a wrong turn and she is too stubborn to ask for directions.
Dear Friends is well good! Lullaby.

And The Hero is a great live song and fits perfectly in to Flash the film.

And Put Out The Fire is good too!
[QUOTENAME]We_will_rock_you wrote: [/QUOTENAME]What's Queens most pointless song they have ever done??

For me it would have to be:
Body Language
Delilah
Dear Friends
Put Out The Fire
The Hero
You And I
Body Language-yeah, pretty much

Delilah-The man loved his cat! Got a problem with that?

Dear Friends-It's a moving song!

Put Out The Fire-This does have a point! It's about how guns are dangerous and that Queen are definately against violence.

The Hero-Hey. It worked with the soundtrack. What more do you want?

You and I-I personally like that song. It's about love and being in love. Remember that John Deacon HAD gotten married recently at the time.
Mother Love,
take the lyrics to heart and its disgusting
