Ok, I am from America and was wondering what kind of Honor is a CBE, what does it stand for and what is it for?
Search for it on wikipedia.org, just like anything else. It shouldn't take you more than 30 seconds.

So does this mean Brain can or cannot be knighted later on down the road?

I can't see why not. A CBE is one level below being knighted.

You are on a Queen notice board, strange that you do not know anything about the guitarist. Brian has done a lot of charity work in his career. It's not only the Mercury Phoenix Trust and his involvement in Nelson Mandela's 46664 project. He was part of Rock Therapy, Children In Need, Pavarotti and friends, Princes Trust, Rock Aid Armenia and many more I don't remember off my head. Most notably Brian was a main figure and promoter of the Bone Marrow Donation foundation which was taken over by the government because it was so successful, an unprecedented development.

And what have you done in your life?
I do not want any google ads here.
I was just being an ass....I was frustrated cause I couldn't find the info. I take it back and I apologize...you say dumb things when you are angry or whatever it is. I love Queen, and Brian is actually one of my fave members because of his personality, what he does for us his fans...etc I didn't mean it
I have done enough and you shouldn;t ask someone that when you have no idea who they are. I made a mistake.... how many have you made?

There's a difference between making a mistake and being ignorant. You could easily do research online to find out what a CBE is, and whether or not Brian May is deserving of one.

Write it down. It has information on pretty much anything in the world! So keep that in mind in the future. In addition to that, think before you speak or write something. :)

Merely an observation here, ok.....

But folks, if we treat every person that comes on here asking a question about Queen with the same "you're-a-twat-fuck-off-and-learn-how-to-use-the-internet" attitude, no-one new is going to stop by....

Don't get me wrong - most of them probably SHOULD fuck off and learn how to use the internet.....but I think we should maybe hold back on the vitriol *just* a tad....

Only my opinion, expressed freely within the confines of the internet. Please feel free to disagree and keep talking to "outsiders" like they are scum.

Cheers

I know him well and have been a fan for years. All I asked was a simple question. That's what people do on here...I have seen very stupid questions on here before.. some repeated a million times....and no one makes a big deal about that. Typical of this place. I am not new I have been on here for years...but it's like...you can;t have normal conversations with anyone..cause there are always people arguring about stupid stuff or saying dumb things. People have posted meaningingless stuff on here then why can't someone else post an actual question. There are plenty of questions people post on here that they can look up. Thats what a forum is for...talking to people, asking questions...etc. So please....give me a break. Say what you want...I have seen it before in other posts and against other people. I can;t believe there isnt one place where someone can go and have normal coversations with...everyone always has something to say to someone on here. If you can take a sincere apology...then fine. Just want to enjoy myself on here....not always have to deal with this.oh yeah and here is when someone will post...'well then leave'. Same stuff always...never changes...and no I won't leave because there are still nice people that want to talk on hear about real questions and are there to help if you need it.
