Even though he had a temper and did such things, he did have a big heart and made up for it some how. at least thats what the guy who got the mirror smashed on his head said. (forgot the name right now)

He was only playing with Bono, but Bono or some guy said he was pretty strong.
i read that freddie was aggresive due to his increased cocaine use in the late 70's to mid 80's. A symptom of Cocaine use is being agressive.

And then he totally got very angry and steam was coming out of his ears after the video of 'How Can I Go On' or one of those other songs from the Barcelona album, because while filming the video, the vocals were too slow and since it was a live miming to it, they couldn't re-do it.
