Lol, But are you all sure he did all those things or are they just rumors?

He didn't pin Bono against the wall.

We in Ireland have a phrase. Say for example you get caught having to talk to someone you don't really want to, or someone who's really chatty gets hold of you when you're in a rush to be somewhere else....

We would say...and try this with a Norn Irn, or Oirish accent:

"Oi had to go the stage, loike, where I was due to play, but I bumped into yer man, Freddie. Jaysus he had us pinned for an hour, you know how that fecker likes to ganche"

Hence where Bono uses the phrase "pinned".

I thank you. Dialects of Ireland for Beginners: Lesson 1 has now ended....

Does that count as a temper?[/QUOTE]
I think that really counts as temper!!

Anyway if he was only that way with people who went too far, that doesn't make it a bad person, does it??
Temper is good when you have to put limits.

I think that was more him taking the piss out of the woman, which is more cruel than anger. And very crude!

From Freestone's or Hutton's biography, it sounded like he had bad mood swings from cocaine. The user never thinks they do. I wondered if his close associates were a bit like Elvis's "Memphis mafia" - yes men - who could stay a part of the clan as long as they didn't give the master any lip.
Yes, it was a worthwhile experience.

One evening, Freddie's Birthday party was being planned and a photographer wanted to do a photo shoot. He made a deal with Queen that he would get the cake and then could take pictures. So he asked Brian,Roger, and John what Freddie would want on his cake. It was agreed that the cake would have two large naked breasts on top. At the party, the photographer anxiously awaited Freddie's entrance to cut his cake. But instead, to everyone's surprise, Freddie entered the room and looked around and became enraged. He screamed out,"I just want everyone to leave me the f___ alone!" Then he stormed out:(

He also fought quite a bit with his lovers in the early days. Especially with Winnie Kerschberger. On many occasions there were screaming matches to be heard from the halls and during one incident Freddie got his hand severely bitten and he was to attend an interview the next day!:)

Is it true that one day Freddie was having a problem with his temper, so they sent him to see the social worker? Is it true that after the session, the social worker said he probably has an emotional disturbance?
I don't know, but it seems very doubtful to me...

The guy he crashed a mirror on was a roadie, and after he ordered the guy to clean up the mess :/ He must have been really pissed...

Freddie pushed him against a wall and actually said how great himself was, and Bono was like "Okay, we like you, all right?"

In meaning... the 'pinned' word wasn't what the article said.

That wasn't by Winnie. That was with Bill Reid I think. Winnie was his German lover. In the US is when he got his hand bitten.
