I don't think there's anything wrong with being overly concerned with people's deaths, and all those other things she has going for her. I think there are much worse things to worry about in the world.
There's a clear difference between being different and having something "wrong" with you. Your criticisms of her are parallel to the same people criticizing homosexuals for being "wrong."

Well jasen101, I could forgive your insults to the mentally ill if you were, say, 10 years old?? But your profile says you're 25!! Seriously, Are you lying about your age? Only children use that language to insult their little friends....
As for FGT, I actually think she's one of the most intelligent people on this board...
And to those who say that there must be something wrong in a person just because their views are different from yours.... you're just fundamentalists. TG you have no political power or people like FGT and myself would be jailed for life!
LOL

Here we have someone who strongly supports a war that so far has killed over 30,000 civilians and over 2,000 American soldiers.
I don't think it's concern over people's deaths, but the lack of concern. There's no doubt that each and every single innocent victim of war means nothing to her.

What if the girls had an interest in politics? :)
I don't mind FGT. I've not really got to know her. I'd say I'm indifferent.

I don't think there's anything wrong with showing an interest for politics, but there's definitely something wrong when you admire bad politicians.

neither do I. Shame she doesn't care about the people George Bush are killing..
Where are her threads about that?
[/QUOTE]
She will probably respond to you asking about the people who were killed by Saddam Hussein.
In her book TWO WRONGS make a RIGHT.

I'd have to agree with my chum on this one. I don't find her posts to be all that offensive, though I do roll my eyes from time to time when I read them, but that's hardly different from other posts here. Just because she's passionate about something she believes in - no matter how misguided or unpopular it may be - hardly qualifies her as mentally challenged.

Each and every person on this board is entitled to their opinions and the ability to voice them on here. Everyone else is entitled to voice their opinions in response to those opinions but I personally don't think name calling and insults should happen. It really doesn't solve anything or add to any meaningful discussions.
I like everyone on here. I may not like what they have to say or I may hold a different opinion, but I'm surely not going to call them retarded or idiotic for what they say or what beliefs they have. I may think what they say is idiotic, but I'm not going to say it, it's hurtful and serves no purpose.

I like her. I've never really gotten to know her, but we share the same views on things (=O) and she seems like a nice girl. I don't think there's anything wrong with her political views at all.
TIMMAAAAY!

I wonder why people who are against Bush believe the opposite view is very unpopular. In my opinion, those who are against Bush simply voice their views more loudly (sometimes aggressively). The same thing happens in Italy between the supporters of the center left and those of the center right. I wonder why it is almost always the Leftists who will spark hot discussions and often attacking those with an opposite view, calling them names, etc.
I think FGT is an exception, as she voices her opinion very loudly though her views are not fashionable. Her threads can be a surprise. But if someone posts a thread making fun of Bush, or blaming the Western way of life for the problems of the world, nobody would really notice. It is fashionable to say so, but this doesn't mean that it's always right, nor that the majority of people agree.
Just my 2 sense

Corky from 'Life Goes On' was a very charming and loveable character.
I'm sure most will agree that he can do a much better job at the White House than Bush.
