OPINONS ON FREDDIE'S APPEARANCE IN PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE

I noticed a mark in the Live Aid photos also. :-(

I don't know what that is, but he had no signs of disease until 1987-89, he was really healthy in live aid.

No I stand by what I said. In a Q magazine interview in April 1989 at that year's fan club convention one fan said that she liked Fred's new look but thought he was looking "chubby-cheeked at the moment". He definitely looked overweight in the face on that video.

I agree with Asterik. H elooks fatter in "I want it all".
Even in the Breakthru video he seems perfectly fit though he was qite ill, acording to Brian and Rog, but they say also..."He doesn't seem ill at all!!!He was so strong!!"

My god...according to that artical about KS, it suggests that Freddie had Herpies as well. Just my interpretation...

I've seen that pic, and that was as obvious as as a bell that he had two lesions there. Well that was '90, and he didn't look well in ANY of the pics taken of him that night for that party. At least none of the ones that I've seen. But come on, he wasn't exactly winning the war on a deadly disease like that, you know??

Fred looks absolutely dreadful on that 1990 photo. Quite shocking even compared with The Miracle videos.

He looks awful in that 1990 picture... i hate to see him like that :(

Didn't The Mirror use that photo a day later to suggest he had AIDS. He looks dazed on it; horribly thin.

mercury looked great there..one of his best looks ever..!!!

I think so, of course people seemed to notice the guy was unwell by then, evn if he kept denying that.

If Freddie had been prescribed corticosteroids (Cortisone, Prednisone, etc) as antiimflammatory medication for the HIV symptoms he would have gotten a chubby look to his face and abdomen while still remaining very thin in his extremities.

The side effect of corticosteroids on appearance varies person to person and is affected by dosage and length of administration.

In the great Pretender he does not look well or sick he looks "odd" with all the heavy makeup and the cover song was also a Hint, look at the lyrics and see
