Nice mix. I really like the intro. Although the original is one of my favourites from that period, it will be a nice addition to my 'Queen Rocks' compilation, without the a capella part in the middle!

Thanks!

Lord F, I quite liked both mixes. Only thing that kind of bugged me a bit is that I still expect to hear the vocal part in the middle. But thats purely down to listening to the original all these years and not anybody's fault.

Very good indeed, Simon

Thanks Dave! The whole idea was to remove the vocal section from the middle, as that has always kind of bugged me! I also like both mixes, but I'm more drawn towards the second one, as it seems to flow slightly better, without a long pause where the vocal section was. On the other hand, the long pause is quite dramatic, so I couldn't choose between the two, hence posting both!

Simon, if I had to pick between them I'd say that the second is better - but only just and mostly for the reasons you stated.

Good to see your remixing juices are flowing again my friend.

Hey Lord, I always enjoy your mixes/edits very much, thanks for your efforts!
Now with Prophet's Song, what you use as the end of your mix is IMHO not an ending but a link (to LOML of course) - so I tried and made up a version using that "end" as an intro (before your a capella) which sounds pretty good! Unfortunately I'm not bright enough to upload my version of your mix but maybe I'll give it a try some day. Anyway, still like your P. S. a lot! Cheers, Mike

Hi, Mike! As you no doubt realised, the 'end' I used is actually the real 'end' of the track. LOML starts when the piano comes in, just after the last 'pling' of Brian's Toy Koto, which I just added a bit of delay to.

It's very easy to upload your file using Rapidshare. just go to http://rapidshare.de/ and click Browse to navigate to your file, then click Upload, and within a few minutes, you will receive a download link, which you can then post on here. :)

(that should've read YOUR mix of course!)

Can't honestly say I think it's an improvement, Mike, but if it's how you like it, that's OK.
