The 2005 tour was great. Felt like a permanent vacation. Meeting nice people (before and after the shows), driving to gigs with my brother, Jeroen, Kim , Leo and Willy... really great.

Queensday 2002 was a great day for me as well. First time I saw Roger. Off course the concert wasn't that great but I couldn't care less. Brian and Roger performing together was quite rare in 2002. I loved it.

Just like Pim, Brian May in Utrecht 1998 was my first concert. I really had a great time. Loved the Queen medley and Since You've Been Gone.

Q+PR - MEN Arena - Manchester - 04/05/2005

What can I say? A revelation to me and a couple of my greatest hits Queen fan friends. Great night, great show. Played Under Pressure for the first time! I've seen Oasis, The Stones, U2 and The Killers but that Q+PR concert just felt more special.

My first concert ever was Queen, I was 14 years old and it was one hell of an introduction to live concerts. After that I saw almost everybody who's a little famous, but nothing ever matched my first experience(Bruce Springsteen, U2, Rush, David lee Roth, AC/DC, Phil Collins, David Bowie etc.)

I've only seen "Queen" at the two 46664 concerts in South Africa. The first one (2003?) in Cape Town was fabulous. There was a fantastic lineup (U2, Annie Lennox+Dave Stewart, Sir Bob Geldof, The Corrs, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Zucchero, Jimmy Cliff, Paul Oakenfold, Beyonce, Johnny Clegg, inter alia) but the crowd never screamed as they did when Brian May exploded on stage with the famous riffs from Bohemian Rhapsody. The few classics they did, along with newer songs like "Say It's Not True" and "The Call" (nice singing and guitar by Brian) were all fantastically-received. The crowd of about 40,000 (though it may have been 50-odd thousand, I can't remember) was wonderful.

The second concert, 2005 in George (small town, but also in SA) was not bad. Nice to see some of the aforementioned artists as well as new ones like Katie Melua, Indie Arie etc. Alas I missed one or two of the Queen songs, but they had a nice set that was a fair deal longer than at the previous 46664. My first impression of Paul Rodgers was not a good one when he stuffed up some lyrics. Indeed I was also much closer to the stage at this concert (smaller venue, about 20,000 people) and I got a nice view of Brian and Rog (looking old).

All in all I was glad to be able to experience Brian and Rog perform twice, though the first concert was particularly special due to the amazing lineup of other artists as well, and the fact that PR was not there! And at both there was Nelson Mandela, he's always amazing!

Exactly, A Word In Your Ear - people became very annoyed about the track 13 intro because we were standing in the dark waiting for something to happen and instead they kept playing this track 13 from the tape:)

It's all on the bootleg I have from Mr. Scully, the intro is about 20 mins long I think
