With each review only a couple of the songs ar ementioned. I sense the reviewers HAVEN'T EVEN BOTHERED TO LISTEN TO IT, prefering to make left-wing claptrap comments on them being royal and imperialist. They clearly haven't judged the music, as is shown by their appalling review of a very good Queen labum, "Jazz". But notice how begrudgingly, their attitude softens over time- to the point where on Innuendo they do give qualified praise. It's only now that these pompous, arty magazines are beginning to realise how good the band were. I am a big fan of U2 but I know that they could release an album of nursey rhymes and RS would give it at least 4 stars probably because it was "a clever social comment."

I am an older Queen fan and I remember very well that Queen was routinely dissed and essentially ignored by the American music reviewers in the late 70's through early 60's.

Personally, I think Queen's sound was ahead of the music trends at the time. There was a schism in rock between the movement toward disco and punk. Queen didn't fit either category and were simply dismissed by much of the music press. I would imagine some of those reviewers would like to forget having written those nasty reviews now.
None of em got more than 3 stars!!! And where's ANATO?
We are, we are the saints We signed our life away Doesn't matter what you think We're gonna do it anyway We are, we are the saints One day you will confess And pray to the Saints of Los Angeles
"There's no Jazz on Queen's new record, in case fans of either were worried about the defilement of an icon. Queen hasn't the imagination to play jazz—Queen hasn't the imagination, for that matter, to play rock & roll."

*gasp* THEY DO TOO GOTS TALENT!!! *sobs* Why must they be such fucking jerks?

"Queen may be the only true fascist rock band"

this comment is unfounded, rediculous, offensive, stupid and a down right piece of crap.
The man that wrote this is an absolute tool.

That Jazz review, in fact most of them are terrible, bias, rude, and plain untrue. In the Jazz review he doesn't mention on anything about the music on the album. He mentions one song and only talks about the title not anything about how fat bottomed girls in a great song.

how does this guy get a job writing as a journalist when my 8 year old cousin could write a better review.
im growing my hair like Brian May...
