OK, OK, you don't like the tour with Paul Rodgers. Would you like if Brian and Roger dumped Paul and toured by themselves, sharing the vocals between the two of them? Would that be acceptable? Would you stop complaining then?

Actually, even though I support the Q+PR project, that idea appeals more to me.
What do you say?
This can't end well.
Why you bring this up munchkin? this threads just asking for an arguement you know someones gonna come in and disagree, then someone will slag kenny rogers off, i mean paul rodgers, why do people post stupid threads with the topic, "to all the people who hate paul rodgers" since ive been here theres always a simular topic every week, or some crap like that, at the end of the day there touring we're not bothered, GET OVER IT!!!!!

YES I LIKE THAT!

I would like that. Yes.
Even better would be for Tim Staffell to join them, tour as Smile.
well said...Smile were absolutely great.
I would die to listen Polar Bear live...Tim Staffel's voice really deserves the place somebody else is hopelessly and pointlessly filling.
take heed that yonder dog! Look when he fawns he bites, and when he bites his venom teeth will rankle to death
if it had been "Smile", with Smile songs, plus Brian/Tim/Roger's solo tracks, plus Brian and Roger chucking in the odd Queen song here and there, that'd rock.
Or, we could shut up and be greatful that Brian and Roger are doing something other than sitting on their asses and collecting royalties.

Paul Rodgers won't leave...

I was speaking hypothetically.
I have an idea-

Anybody who doesnt like Paul Rodgers should show just how much they hate him by never going to the QPR concerts. To provoke him even more, dont buy ROTC, Killer Queen or any other album he has collaborated on. Last, dont listen to Bad Company because thats his own band (which by the by, made him famous in his own right)

Both Roger & Brian have toured with 'others' filling in the rest of the band and the crowds / sales have not exactly been massive have they ?

I have nothing against Q&PR and think they do a damn good job but personally I would rather have the chance to go and see The Cross with Queen songs (& ideally Brian added too)as I think Roger's solo stuff is usually equal or above the stuff Queen put out from the mid 80's onwards ... but most other people don't think so otherwise The Cross would not have been playing the small clubs like they had to do due to the lack of enthusiasm from 'Queen fans'

Therefore I'm happy to enjoy Q&PR becasuse it is the best option available as far as the band are concerned and I like it too though it is not my preferred choice

It was Free that made him famous, one of the bands Queen loved when they were first starting out.

Bad Company were his next band formed by a collaboration between Paul & Mott The Hoople (blimey, another Queen connection) guitarist Mick Ralphs along with Simon Kirke (also from Free) & Boz Burrell.
