Queen have reached Legend status anyway and are influencing youger rock bands thus ensuring the music of Queen stays alive anyway. I just can't see the point in Brian and Roger trying to recreate the magic of Queen without Freddie. Every band has it's day and Queen have had theres whether it be Queen or Queen +. Why they can't just let Queen rest is beyond me. To answer your question on the younger fans and Queen they don't need Queen + to get into Queen. Why is it the Beatles remain popular with young people and they haven't done anything for 35 odd years ?. Good music will stand the test of time people don't need Queen + to remind them of what the original Queen was like. I would have thought most young fans who went to Queen + PR concerts liked the band anyway. There are so many rock dinosaurs from the 60's and 70's now trying to hard to recreate their past glories...Elton, The Stones, Robert Plant. All these now look too old on stage. I my view only Floyd, Clapton and a few others can get away with it. And as for Queen being in the charts no thanks NO THANKS. The charts have meant nothing since the mid 80's. Thanks to the internet people will always have queen songs and concerts to watch (never download legally though as it's all free on Shareaza!!)

The question is whether Brian and Roger should call it Queen.Quite clearly Queen are no more,and to use the name in such a tenuous manner,says to me this is all about making some quick cash.If you can't equal the Queen we all know and love,then the entire exercise seems totally pointless.Of course there are some weak minded people who will watch enything Brian and Roger do,simply because it's them.What i've seen and heard of this so called Q+PR so far,makes me think they've ruined the legacy.Paul simply can't carry off the vocal duties(and nobody really could),and the boys seem tired and completely over the hill now.Time for them to retire,i think,and soon.

How long do you think this rehashed Brian and Roger effort is going to last?People who are genuine Queen fans know this has nothing to do with Queen.The band died with Freddie,and nothing May and Taylor can do will ever disguise that fact.Of course there are silly uneducated Queen fans who will accept any old crap on offer,but the rest of us see this for what it is,a cynical cash in,nothing more nothing less.

I consider myself to be a real Queen fan. I have been so since I was born.

Just because I do not support this latest project does not mean I am blind, ignorant, bitter or a traitor.

It is my opinion that Brian and Roger on their own do not represent "Queen" as an active group. I can see why they use the name (marquee value, media attention, merchandising etc etc) and despite what I think they will continue to use the brand name.

Some people seem to be getting me confused with other people here. I have stated time and time again that I respect the views of anyone who does support Q+PR and hope that those people who have attended or will be attending shows have a good time, and enjoy themselves.

So why can't people respect my opinion?

There's plenty of time to talk about the REAL Queen when GIMP Rodgers is driven out of the so called Queen and when Brian and Roger and some of you on here start seeing sense for once. Do you want the Queen legacy ruined ? Of course you don't so lets make peace and get Rodger's out and beg Brian and Roger to call it a day with Queen + and Queen songs. I would love them tocreate new material with a new band or some solo stuff
