Also, maybe I just didn't notice in Worcester, but last night both Paul and Brian had some "funky" looking guitars for CLTCL. Brian changes his midway...and we didn't get a photo of these unfortunatley... but they had a unique body to them.

Will you tell us more about these guitars please Niek? What makes them more able to get the sound wanted in CLTCL?
I saw one of these things in a guitar shop once (didn't get to play it, though). They are basically electric guitars, but somehow they sound like acoustics. I think they use them for CLTCL because they look cool, and being electric they are easier to use, just plug-em in instead of mic-ing them.
I also think they chose them because they look cool. You can also plug in those semi-acoustic guitars they used on stage in tours after 1979. I think they used Martin guitars, but i'm not 100% sure

The main benefit is the fact they don't suffer from feedback, which Electro-accoustic guitars do in live situations, this is due to the resonance created in the hollow body of a normal guitar.
These have no body, hence very little feed back, unless you stand next to the amp that is!
