Different guitar ?

I'm a guitarist so I notice things like the guitars Paul and Brian are playing. (I saw Randy Bachman play one of those at least 2 years ago)
I doubt most people have really payed much notice about a guitar until they've seen them.
I don't know if it means they're insular. I think it is more likely that they don't really care that much and having seen the guitar the're curious.
Besides how would they find a discussion about the guitar when they have to sift through all of the anti Paul Rodgers crap posted?

By seeking out information about how the European tour was going this time last year. You know as well as I do that the anti-PR threads are easily distinguishable from the concert report threads. Had the tour started in the US last year, I'd have kept an eye on what was going on. I'm expressing surprise that others on this site were not of a similar view.

Or by watching any of the three DVDs available from the tour (ok, two of them you'd have to download)...?
