I called and spoke to a lady at Allstate Arena in Chicago about the camera policy for Q+PR. She said "small cameras, disposable cameras were okay... no digitals, no telescopic lenses, no video cameras of course (she chuckled)..."

I never understand when a venue tells you that you can bring a small camera but no digital. I fail to see what the problem is.

I believe they were telling people in Atlanta no digital cameras either.
The main reason I like to have pics of my own is just to remember exactly what my view was. I know my pics are probably gonna be blurry, but I'll remember where my seats were at..:-)
