why does Khashoggi's Ship get such a hard time?

I'm making a stand here people!

I'm sick to the back teeth of reading reviews of The Miracle album and seeing Khashoggi's being almost dismissed every time.

Am I the only person alive who LOVES this song?? Freddie's vocal performance is nothing short of amazing (the kind of amazing that makes one smile uncontrollably) the way he carries such a strong vocal line over the accompaniment.............

You're not going crazy. I really like the song too. Great drums, great guitar work, great everything. It got a real "live" feel. It's just that there is no those BIG Queen tradmarks in it (chorus, riff lines etc...). Maybe it's why this song is so dismissed.

The end bit certainly has that live feel, and I always picture it that way when listening to it.

I don't think it gets a hard time i just think it's just not recognised at all , i think it's a great tune with a 'live' feel to the song as if they are on stage just have a ball.

I think i've read somewhere that quite a few drinks were consumed in making this i might be wrong.

I loved it as soon as I heard it. I love how it starts where 'Party' left off. It's a great track and I don't understand either why it gets so much flack.

I love this song as well! Its sooo much fun and i often imagine Freddie rockin' it out live on stage at another Wemblyesque gig.
