pain and pleasure is a good tune, it would have made a good freddie and john solo track. the only filler on AKOM is don't lose your head.

Yes, well John was by far the weakest song writer in my view. I detest I Want To Break Free and songs like You're my best friend are cutesy enough but are nothing more than ditty pop. Actually, on listening to it, I quite like Pain/Pleasure now.

A filler is usually a song written because they don't have enough material to fill the album ,I'm pretty sure they had more than enough songs to fill any album .I'll try not to be silly next time.

Just listened to Khashoggi's and it's not that bad, really. I used to dismiss it because of Party, which is a terrible song, I guess the worst on the album. Khashoggi begins after the worst song on the LP and is followed by one of the best - maybe that's why it's often overlooked.
