I just got home; one gas station had (regular unleaded) for 2.11 and another for 2.14. Its getting pretty low now. I doubt we'll break 1.99 but we can still hope.
I take trains.
This oil prices bullshit is the biggest ripoff since GH3.

Gas prices are too high. Gas should be free for everyone.

Gas should be $5 dollars a gallon. Then people would think twice before wasting it.
I don't waste gas, I use it to drive back and forth to work and places I need to go.

Yeah I just leave my car running when I get home incase I need to go somewhere quickly.
Dumbass... Of course I mean that in a nice way.
$5 gas would hurt the economy so badly.

no it wouldnt. People would think twice about wasting gas and joyriding. You would then also realize that there are some distances that would be better to walk, ride a bike or run.

Ok, I'll let you know how it goes riding my bike down the interstate to work. I don't go "joyriding."
Once you are old enough actually live on your own you might realize that $5 a gallon would hurt your finances BADLY.
Oh and get your friend off of this board...

I don't claim to be an expert on the American economic state *brushes aside doctorate of American Economy* but I'm pretty sure that there'd be huge, huge, huge protests over having 'gas' prices at $5 a gallon.
And remember what Ross Noble once said: Everywhere is in walking distance. Just depends what time you start walking to when you finish.

QOW = OWNED!
good point that you bring up. I spend a good 120 bucks a month on gas (going between 2 jobs) - and it kills me.
