For those of you who wondered about whether this DVD included The Prophets Song I can tell you that it is included. Its in the extras bit - all 11.35 seconds of it and tells of a demo version that Kenny Everett nicked to play on his radio show!!

Also included is a piano version of God Save The Queen which is a very rough demo guide for the proper version!!!

All in all this is a very good DVD imho.
"Normally i can't dance to save my life. But as soon as I step in dog shit, I can moonwalk better than Michael Jackson."
I'm looking forward to checking this out. I have a question though. There a two editions of this being released. The "special edition" from what I gather will also include the 24bit dvd remaster of the original recording.

So is this the same disc the was just released as the 30th anniversary edition? sorry if this question has already been asked.

it looks like it. If I get the DVD it will be the single disc edition (the BBC show with the extra tracks chucked in).
I got my (premium edition) copy today; I'm pretty sure the 2nd disc is the same as the ANATO dvd, but I haven't had time to compare them minutely.

I like the extras on the first disc though the Prophet's Song should have been included in the original programme.
God bless the Guv'nor
I noticed that Best Buy has this for pre-order on their website for $12.59 with free shipping. They don't mention the special edition. I assume this must be the single disc version. That's the best price I've seen for it yet.
THIS DOUBLE DVD IS WORTH BUYING.

All in all not as bad as it could have been:-)
on my way up
Yeah, I thought there were gonna be one or two extras on the second disc that weren't on the special edition of ANATO, but it looks like its just gonna be the same now, so hopefully I can just buy the one disc version.
"Freddie would have loved it" - Brian May
On the original DVD from the 30th anniversary release it was only in DTS 5.1. The official Queen website is claiming this new issue of the DVD is in DTS and DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1. Is this true?

Quite simply: no.
It's a nice DVD, but I wish they had re-edited the extra parts back into the documentary, or given the option of seamless branching, as it would have been better to have been able to view the whole thing complete, rather than having to go to the extras for Prophet's, the whole of Sweet Lady, and other bits. It was obviously all in one at one stage.

You can get the single disc for just over $10 at www.cduniverse.com ($13.48 or so with shipping).
"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel
my local record shop only had the double disk. however as it was quite cheap £13.99 i think i bought it. you can never have too many copies of seaside rendezvous with archive seaside footage you know
we've no ancestral halls, no haughty portraits on our walls, no family monuments at all, unless it's my cousin sheila's stupendous clevage.
I bought my copy for 10.99 with delivery- and that was double disc edition....
