In regards to Vegas, the MGM Grand Garden Arena has 17,157 seats. I recall seeing only two teeny-tiny sections way up in the corners nearest the stage closed, probably 30-40 seats each. Minus the seats that the catwalk took up, maybe what, another 40? Other than that, looked chock-full up to me, I don't recall seeing a noticeable amount of empty seats. If my figures aren't wrong, i'd venture to guess there were a good 17,000 people there. I could be missing something though, the arena is pretty small compared to most and it sure didnt look like, even at almost full capacity that there were 17k people there.
