I love these two songs!!! Why they never made it big I'll never know

March Of The Black Queen was an even bigger gamble than Bohemian Rhapsody - no way were they going to release that. The record company would have laughed them out of the office if it was proposed.

As for best single that never was, Was It All Worth It should have been the final single from The Miracle, with You And I a close second. Would've liked to have seen Keep Passing The Open Windows, too.

Long Away.

With a video and some airplay (plus of course, playing it on tour!), it'd have been a major hit.

My Melancholy Blues, Long Away, and Stone Cold Crazy are all good songs that could've gotten serious airplay.

I would say SCC, and also Dragon Attack, LOML, Staying Power, I Can't Live With You etc etc.

BTW, I know LOML was released as a Live single in '79, or whenever it was, but if it had been released instead of, FE, YMBF, in the wake of BoRhap, it could easily have got to No. 1. It is easily worth a Number 1 single, but it's probably too late now.

Need Your Loving Tonight would've been a great summer hit :)

I agree on Dragon Attack. That could have been a great single I would think. Also Fight From the Inside and Get Down, Make Love could have maybe done well as singles. Although I'm speaking of here in the US. Don't know much about UK radio.
