Fried Chicken, thanks for the details. It's very important to me as for a musician. I thought they always recorded each instrument SEPARETLY. Beatles - yes, they recorded all instruments together for a song - it was 60's. I thought Queen could do it this way but only for a trying of the song - for a jam.

The second question - from which instruments they started - what was the order of instruments?

To Bob: hmm... haven't thought about it that way. I thought the voice-over was there not primarily to stop people recording it, but more to avoid that people could press them on bootlegs and make money from them...
(As DID happen with the tracks you mention...)

This recording can not be sold - but it is here for all to hear - as it was meant to be, otherwise why would it have been played at the convention in the first place? ;-)

For all to hear... only those who spend the big bucks to go to a convention! But thanks for clearing up the money thing!

By the way, it's still possible that things were actually recorded one track at a time. This file is just a demo. Each member of the band could have played one at a time along with a ghost track for the final cut.
