There may be some bands with more complex harmonies... some bands that could play better, but no one can get a better "final sound" as Queen did. That's where you hear how much effort and work they put in the songs.
And Queen is one of the most creative bands...

A lot maybe... But I don't really care about it. You hear the music, then you read the lyrics... and no one has a better sound than Queen, so I don't care if any other band writes a bible.

I own more Queen albums than any other, so, no, I don't think there is anyone better than Queen. There are other great groups that I've enjoyed over the years (yes, Beatles included), but I have only one or two albums of theirs - mainly Greatest Hits albums, in fact. With Queen, almost every album can be considered a 'greatest hit' collection. IMO.

The Beatles are awesome, marvellous and everything you could imagine, THEY ARE.
But I must say again that Queen had a better final sound (I'm not talking about the studio in which they recorded their albums but all the work they put into them).
Queen members were "better" playing their instrumentos (that doesn't mean that The Beatles were bad).
Freddie was a better singer than John, Paul or George (Altough Paul is a GREAT singer).
Queen had more clever and complex harmonies. What I try to say is that Queen showed that they can do something really complex if they want to; I really hate those bands that always write songs with complex harmonies just because people thinks that the more complex, the better. And Queen always put complex harmonies WHERE THEY MUST GO. So that's why I said clever, because they're in the right places and not over the whole song.
Queen had GREAT, GREAT, GREAT arrangements, made by themselves. Almost all bands with good arrangements call an arranger to do that... (KayaK never called anyone and their records have a lot of the best arrangements I've ever heard, that's why I love them)
That's why I think that Queen is better than the Fab Four.
Anyway, the Beatles are just amazing, and they're not overrated. They're the only band that is loved as it must be. Their songs are not just 4 chords... you can find some amazing stuff from revolver to abbey road.
