Brian-an EMINEM fan?

I was at Brianmay.com recently, and I came across his soapbox...(which I always read by the way) and I guess during his concert in detroit, he was say how eminem doesnt get enough respect in his home town....and this and that...well, it really surprised me, because, well...it just doesnt seem like he would be an eminem, let alone, a rap fan for matter...lol


Another question: Didnt eminem sample a Queen song, and thats why they used his music in their recent tour?

It's Roger who's a fan of Eminem.
I'm not sure about Brian though.

To respect a fellow artist doesn't make one a fan. Brian might like his music, but he isn't neccesarily a fan. Or perhaps he is, who knows. Thank God Brian and Roger are more open-minded than most of the forum, they can see that people like Robbie, Five or Avril can make good records too.

LOL! Oh, man! That last reply just cracked me up! Obviously, I can't even picture Roger and Brian listening to rap let alone writing, recording, and performing that kinda music; otherwise, Freddie would say to himself "what the bloody hell are those two doing? Have they gone mad?" while watching them from Heaven. I can only picture them as rock veterans.

Brian co-wrote a couple Eminem tracks right? Or the music was older, but Eminem DID ask permission, literally going to his house.

And Eminem's favorite band is Queen. Freddie liked opera, does that mean he must do opera? Eminem likes rock, but he does rap.

maybe its so hard to believe bc theyre older...older people dont like modern age stuff and are usually against it....but wasnt it roger who liked eminem? he likes eminem and classical music. weird, huh? but thats sort of like me...im very open when it comes to music....
