I won't start judging whether Harry Potter has more depth than LOTR.
I'll wait until all 7 books of Harry Potter are complete, and then I'll give my opinion.

A Clockwork Orange
Rebecca
The Graduate
Empire of the Sun
Die Hard
The Haunting
The Full Monty
The Exorcist
Quills
Fargo
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Yellow Submarine
Night of the Living Dead
But am also into Bond, Spartacus, Labyrinth, Velvet Goldmine, True Lies, Teenagers from Outer Space ... Anything by Lang, Feuillade, or Renior.
guess I just revealed what kind of student I am ;)

lol! Yes it is. And I LOVE when the liquor begins to affect him and he goes back to the guys table dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire! XD And the scene at the pool! "Oh,my God,what am I doing here? This is beyond obsession" lol! and I absolutely LOVE when he's sitting at the bar (dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire) and a gorgeous blonde walks up for a drink. He smiles and says, "It's on me" and she gives him a nasty look and says,"No thanks" and when he's in the kitchen trying to cook dinner. He's bent over smelling the sauce,"This hollandaise smells like burnt rubber" then he sees what was burning! hahahahaha! I love it! and how about Uncle Frank and Aunt Jack? "Would you be careful this time, she's an old woman!" and after he leaves,"Why wasn't I an only child?" I literally fell out of my chair laughing during that entire movie. It was wonderful! ;)

I like movies that you have to watch a couple of times to actually understand them, or movies where there are unanswered questions that are to the viewer to believe what is going on.
