John Deacon's real problem...

Roger said few not very friendly things about John's retirement in private talking with fans about one year ago.

I really don't think that Brian and Roger were trying so hard to recrute him on the recent tour - if you really want the guy to play with you and you know that guy for over 30 years - that's not the best way to write him letters then, IMHO.

Guys, Bill Wyman just up and retired because he wanted to.....it has happend before.....

But on the other had I am going to contradict myself. With all this talk about not wanting to play in huge venues....if that is the reason of the month (I think he just retired), no body is bringing up the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Over the years we have seen many different people with different ailments, physically and emotional be at the Ceremonies. Even band mates who have had differences with others. Johns absence at that event was very curious. He may have a phobia of large places, he may just wanted to go out with Freedie and leave on top of the world, but sometime, somewhere I truly believe that he wanted to retire, but something happened, something was said, I don’t know who, I don’t know why, and to be honest its none of our business. But I believe it is more like (70% wanting to retire and 30% dealing with that mysterious incident)

Whatever the reasons are that John does not want to participate public in Queen's honors and such is John Deacon's personal business and fans should leave it at that.

What did Roger said?

I allways thought that Jonh is the one that writes letters to support the band. It happened with Nelson Mandela 4664 and WWRY, and now with the recent tour. Am i wrong?

Here's my opinion about mr john richard deacon and why he's basically done his time with queen. Back in 1991 he knew that the band was nearing it's end with freddie's illness taking control, coping with his death and a very close colleague must have been very devasting for him and knowing that the next few years he would be busy with the last album and tribute concert would have occupied his mind.


Apart from the TSMGO appearance in paris and NOBY what else was there for him to do and i believe after all this had gone he realised "fuck what AM I GOING TO DO NOW" , brian and roger had solo careers out of the band and he had nothing and i bet he knew that he alone could not be as successful as roger and brian.

So he gets out knowing that queen no longer exists as freddie has gone and perhaps couldn't see anything further developing with just the three of them and who knows if there is a 'mysterious incident' that hasn't be brought to life, we will only know from one person and one person alone>>>>>> John deacon.

God bless john and i hope we do see you again in some capacity soon.

He wasn't happy about John's retirement while he and Brian are working hard with musicals etc. No more comments about it, sorry.

I really don't think that Brian wrote letter to Paul "would you like to play with us?" and that they haven't met untill rehearsals started.
