Def Leppards Cover of Dear Friends

Has anybody got the Walmart Def Leppard bonus CD with the cover of Dear Friends on it?

That pretty much wraps up the "Def Leppard and Queen sound alot alike theory"...which I have never understood anyway.

That makes two of us. I've always considered Def Leps crap.

This has to rank as one of the worst cover versions I have ever heard. Really.

What in the hell were they thinking? They are such huge Queen fans, why they would do this is beyond me.

I would rather listen to Crazy Frog than hear that again.

"Dear Friends" being one of my fave Queen songs, for its simplicity, I can only imagine...

But from reading this thread, sounds like I should be grateful I can't hear this version of it.

I didn't think it was that bad... it could've been a lot worse.

Personally, I like Def Leppard, and some of the covers are ok (downloaded the album a while back), but this particular one is just....not good.
