Honestly..... I would kiss the holy ground beneath the sky of our lord to come into a contact with a frontman like Freddie or Paul Rogers.

Honestly..... if Joe Elliot showed up for a audition, I probably would not let him in the band. To me, the man has no vocal power whatsoever.

Freddie could rise over top of any drums or guitar.... Joe Elliot get buried underneath everything unless its a acoustic ballad.

In my honest opinion Roger Taylor is a far superior vocalist to Joe Elliot from Leppard.

Elliot is not in Mercury or Rodgers league.

I personally think Paul is one of the best singers of his genre. And he looks like Chuck Norris!! Ha!

I think Paul would sing a much better theme song for his own TV show... it'd be like "Walker: Texas Ranger" Q+PR style... Roger would be the bad guy that gets his ass kicked at the end, and
Brian could be the kid that's getting bullied at school and learns karate from Paul.

And worst of all, it's not even Elliot singing it. It's some whiny bitch called something Savage...the bass player or somesuch, who is just awful

The worst thing about that is the vocals. It sounds like someone has Joe Elliot's balls in their fist squeezing them.

Then again, I haven't heard many Queen covers that I can say I enjoy. I think the vocals and music are just too complex. Even if you get someone that can do a good cover, like say George Michael of STL; he still couldn't cover many other Queen songs. It just happens that STL fits his range. I like Green Day's version they do live of WATC, but I like Green Day a lot, some may not. I doubt if Green Day could do much more of Queen. I admit that I can't stand more than half of what is on the Tribute Concert DVD and VHS. I can't even listen to most of it.

Does anyone else feel this way or am I being a critical bitch?

I kinda liked it...the vocals were kinda crap though. I wouldnt listen to it again
