One should ANALize the Poetry on page 43, when Oedipus is rollin' in his benzo and he has to bust a cap on some flagrants in the under city http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/image/essay/1
Queen with Freddie not Q+PR
They toured a few times in Australia. Once was at the early part of their career (1974, I think) and they performed in Sydney in 1985.

That's all I know I'm afraid.
There's an infamous tale of how they were booed off stage in '74 at a festival in Australia. Some people say it was mostly the idiot announcer and some louts in the crowd, other people reckon that it was the *whole* crowd shouting 'bloody poofs'.

I wouldn't have a clue, born 12 years later on the other end of the continent, but I must say - don't let that stupid story make you think that we're all uncouth morons who hate Queen or anything.
The uncouth ones live over east.

Just jokes, by the way.
my mum went to the Queen concert here in Perth. It was november 1975 - the night at the opera tour at the entertainment centre.
Go, Go, Go, little queenie!!
You know they should of came to Australia with P.R i was so excited when I heared but that excitment was extinguashed when I found out they wernt coming here! O well they went to like every continent except Antartica (of course) and Australia it sux..."DAMN NATION!"
Queen came here (AUSTRALIA) in 1974 for the infamous Sunbury Festival which was a poor version of Woodstock, then did a full tour in 1976 to promote 'A Night at the Opera' then came back in 1985 for 'The Works' tour. In 1985 they were here in about April.

Brian May toured here in 1998 for his solo album'Another World'. Queen have always had a strong following here and hopefully Queen +PR will tour here soon as well.
1998! I remember that, me and my buddy were desperate to go see him in Perth but we were only 12 and not allowed wherever it was he was playing. It was bitterly disappointing.
thanks for the information :)

haha :P
Okay, I don't know if it's true or not but there is supposedly a 85-90% chance of getting Q+PR to Austrlia/NZ in 2007. Apparently if they got 1000 signatures on a petition, they would consider coming. They're now up to 6000 but you can read the details on the site. Go to this link and sign the petition.

I just hate my life sometimes. That tone-deaf, ten thumbed noise polluter Robbie Williams is going to fill the local stadium with his abominable voice, and we can't even get Q+PR to visit.

Fucks sake.
I agree about Robbie Williams. He's a bit up his own ass.
