Does any of this surprise you? He was a bootleg collector, not an archivist!

Of course, the other question that begs answering is:
How did QPL "find" Greg and what criteria did they use in order to "sort the wheat from the chaff" and end up employing him?

Put it this way - no one else was approached. If it was indeed QPL that approached anyone in the first place.
No- he admitted in the same interview that HE approach them...
Correct. They didn't really know each other & he isn't an archivist. Strange business, QPL.
Greg was in the right place at the right time, and had already I believe published his first edition. It is a shame that QP didn't look a little further before selecting him.
I can understand why they chose him, here was this guy that appeared to have done all this work and loved the band, they needed someone to help and didn't need to look any further.
I was pretty supportive of him until recently, however the last year or so and particularly the recent posts have left me thinking without hestitation that he is clearly not suitable to represent them.
I am appauled at him behaviour, and if I ever do meet him I will certianly look him in the eye and tell him so. And for that matter if I ever run into Jim Beach again (as I do from time to time)I will have a word in his ear, not that I guess he cares in the slightest.

Hah taylorgaga should be the archivist. The box set would be a note saying 'You are ungrateful bastards, I'm not giving you anything'.
That was Gregs first edition!
