I got great respect for them, mainly because today they STILL sound SOOO massive and so kick-ass as they've ever done.
The band still sounds like an iron fist and there are very very few bands their age and situation that do that.

I'm seeing them live in 3 weeks - realy looking forward to that!

The Who is one of the best bands in the world. Indeed fantastic. Queen, Deep Purple, Doors, Beatles, The Who, Uriah Heep... made my life better, affected on me very much, today I would be different man without them (I'm also musician)

Ye i love The Who, not my second favs though, that slot is taken by The Beatles!

I got in to The Who by this documentry on Keith Moon and how he died (as well as Jimmi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain..Boddah..hehe) and then i heard My Generation and i fell in love with the song so i bought Who's Last.

My favs songs are probably the whole Who's Last album! hehe

Keith Moon is my fav drummer..god he's goooooooooood.

I like : Who are you , Pinball Wizard, You Better You Bet, Emenece Front,Baba O' Riley , Wont Get Fooled Again, Behind Blue eyes, My Wife , Bargain, Magic Bus and a few choice others that i cant remember off hand.

i love the who. i saw them live about 2 years ago. it was so awesome. and the support band was austrailian band You Am I, and i love them too!! and what the deal even sweeter was the fact that the tickets were free!! a friend of mine got 2 tickets for his birthday, and im the only person he knows that likes them!!

My personal favorites by The Who are You Better You Bet, It's Hard, Athena, Eminence Front, I Can See For Miles, Pinball Wizard, and My Generation. I'm also a fan or Daltrey and Townshend's solo works.

Interesting how you seem to prefer the later material. Face Dances is definitely a great record.
