Caspar...the only thing is...you didn't even refute what Zeni said. I've weighed and considered both your opinions, and it's just natural for any thinking person to side with Zeni with the available arguments the two of you have supplied. You also didn't even give a second glance at my first post.
Perhaps all the grades given are not necessarily deserved, or perhaps that since these elite universities only accept the best and brightest students in the entire world that they should produce the highest percentages of A's...odds are it is a mix of the two. Either way, the value of a degree in one of America's elite schools far outweighs the value of a degree most any other schools in the world.

If you like the city, Drexel is a great school. I know a few people that go/went there. I have visited the campus, and I would have liked to attend classes, but it's a little out of my price range.
I currently go to the Penn State campus in Harrisburg, PA. The nice thing is that Penn State has a dozen or so campuses around the state. You can do your first two years there, then move to Happy Valley. Or, if a local campus offers the major, you can do all "four" years at a branch campus. Either way, it is the same, well respected Penn State degree.
I would respect anyones decision to spend a year or two studying at a community school or inexpensive local university. The quality will be there, but the price should be less than half of what you would spend elsewhere.

And i may consider the Community/Local thing, but i j/ need to get the hell out of this town as soon as possible, its for my sanity, not that the schools are bad. I j/need to get away. But i may have to say and get my basics to save up for the other schools i would like. But i'll see if i can get some scholarships or whatnot.

It's a shame that somebody so young seems to have such a major chip on their shoulder.

It's a nice campus, completely removed from the area of Philadelphia it is located in. It seems that the entire campus is wrapped around in an inpenetrable, protective Ivy League barrier that separates it from the rest of West Philadelphia (where you are definitely better off not being).
