was there something Freddie didn't tell us?

I read the other day that Bo Rhap has 60 different chords... Is that true!? Sounds like alot, most normal songs have 3-7.

Yeah it changes key 3 times and the whole middle section changes piano chord every beat.
I'd go with Millionaire Waltz for both bass and piano if we're speaking about full songs.

Guitar - Innuendo (Steve's parts)

Drums - Sweet Lady and/or Dead On Time. Brighton Rock's quite difficult as well.

Synths - Most of the keyboard parts were actually easy to play (including Was It All Worth It orchestral break), but some sounds would have been perhaps a little tricky to get. Not very advanced anyway, because none of the band members were very technical with synth-programming. I think the pad on 'Thank God It's Christmas' must have taken a long time to work out, but obviously the golden medal goes to the demolition athmosphere in 'Machines'.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
I'd say pretty much any song with Freddie's piano playing in it is extremely hard to learn to play by ear. Does anyone know where I can get the sheet music?

It has heaps of Queen and it's all FREE!!!
I'd say for guitar that "Save Me" has an 'easy' solo to learn and play, but you really have to get the tone and emotion just perfect for that song. To be honest, I don't even really _feel_ it on Brian's live performance at the Bowl.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.

I play a lot of Queens music on piano. Everyone thinks Bohemian Rhapsody is hardest to play, but it is actually an Intermediate Piece.

I have found the Baroque style harpsichord in Fairyfellers Masterstroke is very difficult to reproduce in the Style Freddie plays it.

Also, the NATO version of Love of My Life has an piano interlude in the middle which can be difficult to play.

The more you listen to to Freddies playing and style the easier it is to reproduce. I must have listened to Bo Rhap for hours upon hours just to picture in my mind, how the song was being played and what was involved.

It really isn't that hard with Bo Rhap, I've managed to learn to play the core of the song by ear, and it doesn't sound much different from Freddie's playing.
